Pottery by the Pound: This favorite winter event returns — with a twist. Potters and artists will pre-label their work with a purchase price based on a per-pound cost to minimize handling during the sale. “Carnivale — Celebrating 30 Years”: The annual Carnivale parade and related events began 30 years ago as the brainchild of several Commonwheel Artists Co-op members. To celebrate this momentous anniversary, Commonwheel is hosting a juried show. Artwork and other items in the Carnivale spirit are being sought. Applications accepted through Jan. 10 and are available at commonwheel.com/carnivale-30-year-celebration.html.
