Manitou Springs Police officers responded to a disturbance at a business in the 100 block of Manitou Avenue. The suspect had already left the scene and could not be located. During the investigation, MSPD learned that he was upset that it was after hours for alcohol service and broke into the beer cooler; he was unable to escape with any products. There is no suspect information at this time.

MSPD is investigating a sex offense incident against a child.
Officers stopped a vehicle with an expired license plate tag near West Pikes Peak Avenue and 31st Street. They found that the tag was fictitious, the car had no insurance and the driver had no license.
